SHAKE IT OFF

Life will always serve you with doses of unplanned circumstances that will slap you off balance.
In a world like ours, only the strong fight through.

 Optimists keeping their spirits up say ‘life’s trial's are meant to toughen you, they keep fighting with the hope of a better day, encouraging themselves to forge on in life through life's dark tunnels, believing that there is light at the end of the tunnel.

 
Pessimists on the other hand give up and blame others, but whether you learn from your circumstances, get over it, or move on, the ball is in your court, it all depends on you.

‘He raped you, he broke your heart, mum abandoned you, she told a lie and you were wrongly jailed, He promised he will marry you, he lied to you and married your best friend’, all these scenarios are gut wrenching. But you cannot let them control your life, you cannot play the victim all your life, you cannot blame them for your failures. It is easy to be pessimistic in this case, and be angry with everyone and even yourself. But for how long will you blame yourself?

You can choose to waste a substantial number of your years brooding over past hurts and betrayals that have been inflicted on you by loved ones, but mind you, life goes on and will continue to go on with or without you. It is up to you to quickly shake it off, slowly but surely heal, smile and grow because sadly time will not be waiting on you to heal, time lost can never be regained. SHAKE IT OFF NOW! Life goes on…

The time you will use to breakdown and cry, lament and point accusing fingers, should rather be used to reflect on yourself, accept your faults, forgive yourself and your assailant’s and go out there to make the change you want in your life.

Life is not fair, some people are lucky, others are blessed, others are smart, others recognize opportunities from a mile away, others take things by force, and others persevere on every angle. Whoever you choose to be, whatever category you fall under, life will not wait for you, days pass, time runs, seasons come and go, people grow, yesterday will not come again, its’ gone forever, gone with the wind.

Your willingness to pull through will usher you to greatness and heights that you have never dreamed of. All you need is the God factor.
