ANTS IN A BASIN

I watched an ant drown, yet stay afloat in a basin of water the other day.

It looked so tiny and helpless.

I saw how still yet deep the water stood.

This drew my attention to how fragile we are on earth.

How indispensable and tiny we are in the universe and the immense power the Universe has over us .

We are like a tiny spec in a flower, yet a relevant jigsaw in a puzzle.

As  waves roar, and ships shake, so do our lives tumble when circumstances hit us.

Whether we drown or stay afloat.

We are a  tiny  yet relevant piece in  the puzzle of life, yet helpless like an ant in a basin of water.
